ACT OF HUMANITY: THERUVORAM NGO EXTENDS A LIFELINE TO AN ELDERLY INDIVIDUAL THROUGH RESCUE AND REHABILITATION ENDEAVOUR

In a heartwarming display of community care and solidarity, Theruvoram NGO recently responded to a distress call from the Railway Protection Force at Aluva Railway Station. The call reported an elderly individual in a vulnerable state, wandering aimlessly within the station premises. Upon arrival, the NGO team encountered Mr. Tippa Saamy, a native of Sullur, Karnataka, who was disoriented and lost, with no knowledge of his current whereabouts besides his hometown.

Recognizing the urgent need for assistance, Theruvoram NGO swiftly intervened to ensure Mr. Tippa Saamy received the care and support he desperately needed. Transporting him to a nearby hospital, the NGO ensured he received appropriate medical treatment and care. However, upon discharge from the hospital, Mr. Tippa Saamy found himself without family support and facing an uncertain future.

Undeterred by the challenges, Theruvoram NGO stepped in to provide a lifeline for Mr. Tippa Saamy's rehabilitation journey. Through their dedicated efforts, Mr. Tippa Saamy was not only provided with a safe haven but also experienced a renewed sense of belonging and dignity.
